ADVENT RETREAT: THE CALL OF WINTER: PREPARING FOR A NEW CREATION (online)

Within the increasing darkness and chilling temperatures of Winter, it can be a struggle to trust in the ever-present journey towards light. Approaching Advent, we are called to open ourselves up to Winter’s quiet promise of a new creation, a new energy, and a new hope. The stripping bare of Winter opens up a space within for the divine to be born anew.

Over 4 weeks in November and December, Dr. Gráinne Doherty leads an online Winter/Advent retreat. From the comfort and ease of your own home, you are invited to reflect on the new life that is waiting for you in the midst of Winter’s darkness. Through input, guided discussion, and gentle ritual, these 4 nights, encourages us to wait actively in creative mystery… trusting in the silent seeds quietly unfolding in the hidden hollows of ourselves, our world, and our church, at this time.
